Cooler, upper 70s. Wind, heavy rain.
Took a zero day and watched the tornado watches and warnings on local TV. Did laundry and have everything dried.
Packing up now - back on the trail tomorrow to Goose Pond Cabin. Only slight chance of a shower.

Thought about you all with the potential for serious storms!! Glad everything worked out well. I'm off to the beach tomorrow to do some more yard work and have the alarm system put in. Went to the first court appearance for the folks who broke in. Neither had made bail, so I got to see them in their lovely orange jumpsuits. Trail is set in Superior Ct for Sept. 6th.

Glad to hear you stopped for bad weather. Although it dosen't seem like your roughing it to hard! Great little pond. Perfect for my house. Sandpiper needs to get some close ups of the snakes so we can identify them better! Ha Ha. You came across strange people in the wilderness? Whod a thunk it? Have fun and be carefull.
