Rain last night and again today. Cool, in the low 40s.
But I was warmer because I borrowed a bivy sack from Joe from Iowa. It was nice laying in the bag listening to the rain on the metal roof and knowing we were warm and dry. But the trail was a mess again today after all the rain overnight. Hiked 11 miles and were muddy and cold when we got to town but Frank from Sutton's Place picked us up and let us stay here anyway.
Manchester Center looks nice (the picture is of Manchester Center from Prospect Rock ). It is a resort town. Had dinner at Ye Older Tavern. The building is 250 years old and has always been an inn or tavern. Today it is a nice restaurant.
This is the last day of our 11th week. This is also my 150th journal post.
