Occasional sun. Cooler, mid 70s. Light rain in the afternoon.
Today we left Monson and entered the 100 mile wilderness - so named because the are no good roads and no supplies. There are logging roads so Flatlander and Capt. Bly positioned Capt's car on one of the logging roads near the AT. It will take three days to get there so slack packing is over. We will then move the cars to Millinocket and finish the trail.
On the trail today we passed seven ponds and a 60 foot waterfall. There was also a river ford. Everyone made it.
